Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah that's what I mean.

With the right medical care you can easy live to be in your 100s look how old that guy looks.
Not that it definitely is just I wouldn't be surpised.

Seems kind of pointless if it's someone that's never been in the series before.

Unless it's one of the guys you play as like Mason or someone from BO's campaign which was hard to pay attention too.

8 player zombies? Nice...

Maybe it's because I skipped MW3 and haven't games for a while but I like the look of the game, it does seem to have potential and I still hope for a CoD game as impressive as 4 but with all the new tweaks and spinners and shiny things.
Besides, I really do love zombies, me and my mates play them a lot and we could easily field 8 player teams which would make the game even more hilarious for me. I mean, the 4 players with friends was hectic and full of trolling each other and messing around, 8 of us would be a great laugh...

Guess we'll see though, I do have high hopes this time but I'm ready for them to be dashed.

Also, new zombie modes? Sweet.

Apparently the guy is supposed to be Woods, who I thought was killed in the first Black ops...

The old guy is woods from Black Ops. It clearly says WOODS right when the trailer starts.

And it isn't going to be completely futuristic, it will go back and forth during time periods where you play as Mason then Masons son.
How the hell Woods survived being thrown out a window with a guy that had 6 + live grenades attached to him, i dont know LOL YORPS. But it will be interesting to find out.

And seriously Black Ops had a bad Campaign? IMO IT WAS THE BEST CAMPAIGN a Cod game has seen yet.
Campaigns:
Cod 2- fairly Beast
Cod 4- average
Cod: WaW- slightly below fairly beast
CodMW2- slightly above average
CodMW3- slightly above average (the same game as above ^ )
Cod: Black Ops- BEAST
Cod: Black Ops 2- Predicted to be BEAST

Multiplayer:
Cod 2- N/A
Cod 4- pretty damn good
Cod WaW: slightly above average
Cod MW2- boring
Cod MW3- pretty damn beast
Cod: Black Ops- pretty damn beast
Cod: Black Ops 2- Predicted BEAST

The point is Infinity Ward ( or whats left of it ) hasn't dared to take that extra step in gaming, its been the same damn thing with no variation at all, besides MW3 having some nice new little perks and tweaks, it doesn't make much difference.
Though MW3 Multiplayer is on par with Black Ops Multiplayer, i see Black Ops 2 multiplayer greatly improving.

Beast isn't a valid way of rating anything because it doesn't mean anything in relation to the topic.

"Black Ops campaign was beast"? That doesn't mean anything. Even if you had said "Black Ops campaign was sick" it'd have some sort of contemporary meaning but beast doesn't even work on that level. It tells me nothing about what you think of the game. When something is described as a beast what is implied as that it's powerful, brutal, savage and dominating. There is no way that you can have thought Black Ops was any of those when World At War was actually a more gorey and dark looking game in comparison. World at War could be defined as beast in a slightly metaphorical sense. Black Ops can't be because the campaign and multiplayer were bland and boring. Black Ops is not beast, never was beast and never will be beast in comparison to other Call of Duty games, let alone FPS games or just games in general. It is a bland, generic CoD title.

This is also coming from someone who has said that Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer is "beast" in comparison to MW2. There's hardly a difference. Whilst the MW series is basically the only reason I continued buying CoD games, even I can say that the multiplayer on MW3 isn't that exciting and fun to play, especially compared to MW2. On the face of it, MW2's multiplayer is crammed full of problems but I still played a heck of a lot more multiplayer on that than I have done on MW3, because it's just boring now. It's the same thing over and over. How you can say MW3's multiplayer is beast compared to MW2 is beyond me since there's hardly any difference and possibly even less appeal to play that game mode, for me at any rate.

Black Ops 2 will either be the same boring game Black Ops was, or it'll basically be Mass Effect where you go around shooting robots. What's the point in making a Modern Warfare series if you're just gonna go and make a sci-fi game? It makes the current one seem less dynamic and more dated than it actually is. At this point I'm pretty much begging them to go back to making World War II games, cuz at least those are interesting and involving even if the gameplay needs work and multiplayer is *****.

Oh and also, if MW2 at the time was the biggest selling game of all time or whatever it was, why would Infinity Ward need to have changed much? They updated the story, added new maps, tweaked it a bit in terms of perks and game modes and what not and released it as MW3, and it still sold millions of copies. There's no need for them to have done much more, it got them their money. While I don't necessarily agree with them being lazy like that, I very much enjoyed MW3's campaign. It was a good ending to the story, but since CoD's main fanbase are multiplayer crazy, there are quite a few improvements they could have made that they didn't, even if they were only graphics based and adding to the overall look of the game, and this isn't just a rant about MW games, because the first time I played Black Ops, my first complaint was that it didn't seem any different to me than Modern Warfare 2. The graphics were the same, in fact probably worse and the overall game was just bad, but like I said, the game sold millions of copies so there wasn't much need for them to change anything much, just Treyarch did a worse job on the story and graphics that time around than Infinity Ward did, and that's saying something based on their current form.

If you were any kind of video gamer you wouldn't take the meaning of the word so literally. This is actually funny to read.

Refer to what i previously said.

Thats slightly contradicting. Here you were saying beast is a completely inaccurate term for use of scaling a game. And that is also a very harsh statement towards treyarch. You obviously have a deep hatred for them for reasons i dont know other than the fact they made a game you didn't like but many many others do.

I'm not the one with a bias towards Infinity Ward. There are a lot more game modes, better maps, better customization, all the little tweaks as I've said before make it so much better in comparison. Cod Elite speaks for itself.

It seems to me like your just bashing on Black ops any which way you can. It's a childish notion to flat state that the game will be bad because its set in the near future, where no other cod game has gone to that extreme to date.
It's about leading the genre in a new direction. Everyone's sick of the same old same old that is Cod, even you said so yourself. So as soon as they take a step forward, you view it as a step back.
Give them a chance at least, hell we havent even played it yet.

Black Ops hit record sales across the globe also and look where their heading now. Good game developers always look for better ways to improve upon previously released titles. Why wouldn't Infinity Ward want to make major changes? They already have the fan base. They don't need to play it safe. Perhaps me saying MW3 Multiplayer was beast was a bit of a stretch.

Thats exactly the wrong kind of attitude not needed by game developers. If their only in it for the money then they've lost why they even went into the game industry in the first place. Everyone needs to make money but if what you love doing is game developing why not excel?

Since when does graphics make a good game? Treyarch and Infinity have been on par in the graphics department.
See this is entirely your opinion and not what is true about the game. I dont carry any sort of bias in what im saying i just play whats enjoyable.

EDIT: I have more info i will post on the game later.

Aw yeah I think I remember him...

What's the point in him still being alive? It's not like it's all dramatic or anything.
As many others have said BO's plot was kinda meh. It was hard to follow/be interested in.

MW3's multipllayer was cheap and lazy they, just completely abused that everyone goes crazy over CoD games.
The point of sequels is to continue the story, which it done.

But also for improvement...as far as I can tell nothing was improved all they did was add pointless stuff nobody needs they obviously put practically no effort in to it.
Having lots of game modes doesn't make it good it doesn't improve the game mechanics just adds more stuff to make it look good.

MW2 sold well but it was not exactly perfect was it? When it came out few games were as advanced(lol) and awesome, since then games have much improved in pretty much every way.
That's why they need to change things. Rather than just add unoriginal easy to spam things.

So far Treyarch has been loosely basing their games off of historical events so they've had to make it make some sort of sense and haven't been able to do whatever they want because it wouldn't be realistic.
I'm interested to see how creative they are with this new game, compared to Infinity Ward who...are less than brilliant.

So far though it looks like it's trying too hard, but then these days trailers aren't much to go by(look at MW3's...)

I can't play MW3 that much anymore. I get frustrated easily.

The reason I do is because I use guns that people don't use at all and I always die. Then I am always put on the worst teams and they get kill streaks. I die even more. I use the dragunov and I do well with it, however, I die because of kill streaks.

I used to dominate in cod4, but now I can't even go positive in mw3. I guess I really am that bad at COD games now.

It just frustrates me because I practice and still do bad. Usually when you practice, you're supposed to get better? It doesn't happen for me in COD games.

In bf3, I'd kill a lot so I don't know what the issue is.

It's because MW3 is even slower than 4 have you noticed how poor your movement speed is? And you can only run for like 10 steps so people can easy pick you off because there aren't really any decent maps.

In MW2 I used to put marathon on 2 mp5k's and run around the whole map(I'd always get the nomad accolade lol) and I'd stab or shoot 30 people to death easy.
Now everything is rubbish and there's always someone who's connection is just that bit better than you.

I highly doubt it's a lack of skill on your part if you manage in BF3 which is harder I'd say but in a good way.
They still haven't solved the lag problems.

How many times have you unloaded a whole clip in to a guy then on the killcam it turns out you got a few rounds off and they shot you once then you died? It's ridiculous.
BF3 at least seems to even out the connection unless yours is really really bad.

Yeah but it's two different studios so each one churns out a game every two or 3 years which is why MW3 is so pathetic waited how long since MW2? And it was almost exactly the same...

At least with Treyarch their games have been different each time, like they put a decent amount of thought in to them(even if BO was pretty meh)

Well, I for one say BRING ON THE ZOMBIES! And really, that's pretty much the ONLY reason I want to get Black Ops 2. The campaign I'm sure will be enjoyable, but I'm looking forward to the evolution of the Zombie experience.

I know for sure that the xbox 360 Treyarch games are much better because I've heard that the game makers prefer 360 over ps3. The black ops for ps3 was unplayable. It didn't matter what connection you had. Treyarch games always seem to have the worst connection problems. As much as I liked WaW, it always lagged out and black ops was just a messed up game. Cod4 had its problems, but I could get a couple of games in before disconnecting.

Black ops 2 for ps3 will probably be the same. I had a bad experience with Black Ops. It was really unplayable. The hit detection was abysmal. There is no word to describe how bad it was. I mean for PC and 360 it was probably good, but I play on ps3 and do not intend to switch to another console just to get COD. BF3, MW2, COD4, and even MW3 to an extent was fine for ps3 so I don't understand why they botched black ops so much.

I'm not a huge COD fan but recently playing the PS2 version of COD 3 has sparked my interest. I'm not gonna buy it on release but I'll be sure to buy it a few months afterwards. From what I can see it looks amazing.
